Over this week we have focused on identity, we have defined it, created questions from it and read examples of what it is. Last week we wrote our "Where I'm From" poem that prepared us for this project. This project has little regulations, it's almost all interpreting what we're learning and how it relates to identity. I enjoy doing projects like this because everyone can take it from their perspective. It's easy to make it personal and interesting. My groups question is "How does your past influence your ability to change your future?" I think this question is very reflective, and relatable because everyone has struggles in their life that you can either grow from and learn to not make again or fall into the same lifestyle. There people in my life that continue the same negative path they're on but I also know people who choose to better themselves and their lifestyle. Life is all about choices. You can't change your past but you can change your future. You decide everyday who you want to be and the choices you make.
